Elizabeth Poythress Addresses Georgian Young People
On May 10-14, 2007, Elizabeth A. Poythress, President of Human Resources Int’l, visited Georgia with her husband, Major General David Poythress. While in Georgia she met with educational institutions in Tbilisi and addressed Georgian youth. Mrs. Poythress continues to carry out volunteer work for Georgia by assisting orphans and young generation.
During her visit in Tbilisi, Elizabeth Poythress visited Georgian-American University and Tbilisi State University to address students on human resources policy development, labor relations, organizational development and training.
On May 11, the American Corner at the Tbilisi Youth Palace hosted Mrs. Poythress and a U.S. Embassy delegation. Mrs. Poythress delivered a presentation on the U.S. state of Georgia. Following the presentation, the Youth Palace National Dance Studio and Choir students organized a special concert for the distinguished guests. On May 14, Mrs. Poythress visited the Tbilisi Infants’ Orphanage to learn about the needs of the orphanage with the aim of continuing U.S. assistance programs for Georgian orphans.
