Joye Davis-Kirchner, Political officer, met with Ambrolauri Members of the Anti-Violence Network (AVN) to discuss their efforts in combating violence in the Raja-Lekhumi region. The AVN Chairperson Sopho Sharabidze explained the problems families typically face in the region and available resources to treat and refer Domestic Violence victims. One of the biggest challenges AVN representatives face in Raja is the lack of television and radio, fax and internet service, in disseminating information about their services.
