Ambassadors Travel to Tskhinvali
On Tuesday, September 12, US Ambassador John Tefft joined envoys from the French, German, British and Italian Embassies and OSCE in traveling to Tskhinvali to meet with the de facto authorities of South Ossetia, including Eduard Kokoity.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the shooting at the helicopter of Georgian Defense Minister Okruashvili. The Ambassadors emphasized that shooting at helicopters is a criminal act and a clear violation of international law.
