Assistant Secretary Fried Visits Georgia
Tbilisi - Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried is visiting Tbilisi during October 31- November 2, 2007. He will be the keynote speaker for the opening session of “Building Europe’s East”, an international summit initiated by the government of Georgia with the participation of the George Marshall Fund. Following his keynote speech at 19:00, Daniel Fried will hold a press opportunity at the Tbilisi History Museum (Caravansarai). While in Tbilisi he will meet with President Sakashvili, Speaker Burjanadze, other government officials, opposition leaders and western diplomats.
